Case Study: Basaltic Construction's Road Maintenance Project at the National University of Lesotho

Client: National University of Lesotho Duration: May 2019 to June 2019 Road Coverage: Approximately 500m to 1000m Introduction Basaltic Construction, a renowned construction company, undertook a challenging road maintenance project at the National University of Lesotho. The project aimed to enhance road safety and improve transportation infrastructure within the university premises. The scope of work encompassed pothole patches, construction of speed humps, installation of road signs, concrete works, and road marking. This case study highlights the successful execution of the project by Basaltic Construction.   Challenges and Objectives The road within the National University of Lesotho had deteriorated over time, presenting numerous challenges for pedestrians, vehicles, and the overall campus environment. The primary objectives of the project were to eliminate hazardous potholes, implement effective traffic calming measures, enhance visibility through road signage, and provide clear road markings. Basaltic Construction was entrusted with the responsibility of accomplishing these objectives within the specified timeline and budget.
